From the market research, copper scraps prices in Tianjin market lift further on Monday (December 31).

Shanghai copper futures open lower, but edge up this morning, driving up spot copper prices. Many fabricators and traders show more interest in replenishing some before Chinese Spring Festival holidays. However, the holders find it very difficult to accept postponed payment of the buyers.
